Healthcare. Good healthcare is plentiful and readily accessible. There are seven acute care hospitals in the area, and two health systems. Plus, Charlotte is home to one of the nation’s leading independent academic orthopedics practices and one of the nation’s newest VA Health Care Center.

Low Taxes. The Charlotte region is known for its low taxes and moderate cost of living.  Those moving from high-tax states with high cost of living expenses find that living in Charlotte is easier on the pocketbook!
